Guys - did you read the story of the workshop that almost broke me last week? It was a tear jerking story of how a girl (me) with a fragile ego almost let one negative teaching experience taint something she loved. This week I am sharing my come back story AND a free guide to making a junk journal printable.

Look at those happy students! Can you spot my secret weapon in the photo?

After the original event I will be honest - I curled up in the fetal position for a few days and licked my wounds. Eventually after a few mental pep talks I started thinking: how could I have made that workshop better, more accessible, and less chaotic. I made a list. I made a kit. I tracked down an artist on the internet and asked her to illustrate a handout in about a week (she delivered — this woman was sent straight from heaven).

Then I showed up and taught the same workshop to double the number of people.

THEY LIKED ME. THEY REALLY LIKED ME.

(Please read that in your best Sally Field Oscar acceptance speech voice.)
